GP Same Day Access
You may not need to go to A&E, but some illnesses will need medical attention on the same day. At times like this, phone your GP practice and explain why you need to speak to someone urgently. They will arrange for you to speak to a doctor or nurse at the practice that day, or explain what else to do.
In January 2016, Manchester GPs launched a new seven day service with thousands of extra GP appointments available at evenings and weekends. The appointments are available from 8am to 8pm 7 days a week.
The seven day service is available to any patient registered with a Manchester GP. Appointments must be booked in advance and patients can book appointments by contacting their own local GP practice.
