NHS 111


Patients in Manchester can now access the same urgent medical help from the 111 phone line at 111.nhs.uk. People answer questions about their symptoms and if necessary, can speak to a nurse, dentist or GP. This new online service provides a fast and convenient alternative to the phone line.

So if you’re worried about an urgent medical concern over Christmas or New Year, you can now get help online using your smartphone, tablet or computer. The online service is fast, free and easy to use and offers the same help as the 111 phoneline. You can use the service to:

  • answer questions about your symptoms
  • find out where to go for help if you can’t see your GP or dentist, or get a call back from a nurse
  • get advice on self care
